Practical Work and Priority Tasks for Anti-Corruption Discussed in Kasan District

A working group led by Umida Tukhtasheva, Deputy Director of the Anti-Corruption Agency, studied the progress of activities being carried out in the Kasan district as part of the program to transform the region into a “corruption-free zone.”

The working group visited the Public Services Center and held discussions with officials regarding the quality of services provided to the population and the measures taken to prevent corruption. Additionally, the opinions of citizens visiting the center were studied, and the conditions created for them were inspected.

During the assessment at Secondary School No. 100, the consistent implementation of the “GRACE” program was observed. In discussions with officials, recommendations were provided on organizing “Integrity Clubs.”

As part of the program's implementation, the “Digital Market” platform is being introduced at the district’s farmers' food market; specifically, 16 special surveillance cameras have been installed in the market area to date.

During the working group’s review, it was announced that projects aimed at ensuring transparency through the digitalization of market operations and the installation of AI-based surveillance cameras are ongoing.

In the studies conducted at the District Medical Association, the implementation of the “DMED” information system was noted, which is aimed at digitalizing service processes, electronic accounting of medicines, and full control of their movement. All medical institutions are being equipped with modern computer technology and 3D scanners.

During the study, an open dialogue was organized with mahalla leaders to prevent corruption among youth in the district's mahallas and to widely promote the principles of honesty and justice. The participants' proposals and initiatives were heard during the session.

The results of the study were discussed with the participation of responsible executors, and specific instructions were given to promptly eliminate identified deficiencies, expand digitalization in various sectors, ensure openness and transparency, and increase public oversight.
