On February 15, a citizen contacted the Call Center of the Anti-Corruption Agency to report the facts of corruption committed by officials of a general school located in Kuyichirchik District, Tashkent Region.

As it turned out, the citizen complaining about corruption acts, tried several times to get a job as an English teacher at a secondary school located in Kuyichirchik District. He turned to Deputy Director of the school S.A., who demanded a bribe.

Based on the information provided by the Anti-Corruption Agency, the Kuyichirchik District Unit of the Department on Combating Economic Crimes undertook actions during which Deputy Director S.A. was caught while accepting a bribe in exchange for a job position.

A criminal case has been initiated and investigative actions are currently underway.
