For reference: since 2021, the Anti-Corruption Agency has been implementing the Region Without Corruption Project as an experiment in Davlatobod District with the involvement of the public, local and foreign leading experts.On August 8, the Anti-Corruption Agency, together with the hokimiyat of Namangan Region, held a meeting on the implementation of the Roadmap 2023 as part of the Region Without Corruption Project in Davlatobod District.
For reference: since 2021, the Anti-Corruption Agency has been implementing the Region Without Corruption Project as an experiment in Davlatobod District with the involvement of the public, local and foreign leading experts.
The project defines a number of important goals and objectives, including studying the factors and problems that give rise to corruption in the district, developing specific proposals to eliminate corruption factors and problems based on an integrated approach, conducting awareness-raising activities aimed at forming an uncompromising attitude towards corruption among citizens, as well as strengthening public control.
At a meeting with the participation of the heads of sectors and representatives of the responsible organizations of the district, the reports of the heads on the activities carried out in the first half of 2023 as part of the Roadmap were heard.
After that, shortcomings in the implementation of these tasks were discussed and proposals and recommendations were made to eliminate them.
In particular, the responsible officer of the Anti-Corruption Agency, Zafar Kuchkarov, emphasized that the Agency provides practical assistance and gives the necessary recommendations to the responsible executive organizations to ensure the implementation of some unfulfilled tasks.
As a result of the discussions, further goals and objectives for the implementation of the project were determined.
