A Dialogue on the Essence of Anti-Corruption Reforms and Ensuring Integrity in Civil Service

A meeting dedicated to the priority areas of state policy in the field of anti-corruption was organized for the students of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, with the participation of Akmal Burkhanov, Director of the Anti-Corruption Agency.

The meeting focused on current anti-corruption measures, national and international practices, as well as matters of ensuring integrity and professional ethics in the activities of civil servants.

The Director of the Agency elaborated on the reforms being implemented under the leadership of the President of our country, aimed at elevating the effective fight against corruption to a new level.

Specifically, information was provided on the national anti-corruption certification management system, the AI-powered "Risk Analysis Center," the "Digital Compliance" platforms, as well as the corruption prevention cluster and their significance.

At the same time, it was emphasized that integrity and accountability are among the primary factors in combating corruption within modern public administration.

Furthermore, explanations of current legislative requirements and practical recommendations were provided regarding strict adherence to codes of conduct in civil service and the prevention of conflicts of interest.
